14k Yellow Gold Freshwater Cultured Pearl Peridot and Blue Topaz Drop Necklace 17

Why Buy A 14k Yellow Gold Freshwater Cultured Pearl Peridot and Blue Topaz Drop Necklace 17?
This elegant, eclectic, yet beautifully harmonious arrangement of gemstones, pearls, and golden beads looks as if it could have tumbled from a treasure box. It cascades gracefully from a 17-inch 14-karat yellow gold cable chain that fastens with a spring ring clasp. Pretty pink and white freshwater pearls appear in round and rice shapes, alternating with beautiful yellow-green peridot and pale, icy blue topaz stones. Intermixed are rice-shaped yellow gold beads with a velvety matte finish. The pretty pastel colors in this necklace are feminine and fresh-looking, and the elegant drop style makes it the perfect accent piece with low V-necklines and strapless styles.

I gave the necklace and earings as a present and was pleased when I saw
them worn.
I believe also, that they could both stand on their own and could
impact and enhance any summery dress/outfit quite easily.
It appeared to be of good quality,no regrets.

It’s what you expect
I ordered this as a Christmas present for a lady friend of mine. I was hesitant due to the price and the fact that it is an Amazon product (I love amazon, but to my knowledge they are not well known for their jewelry). My worries were unfounded. The necklace looks amazing – better than I had hoped for (and it looked quite nice around my friend’s neck). The colors all blend well together and make it a piece of jewelry that would go with just about anything. If I had to pick something to be a negative about this, it would be that I THINK the necklace is all one piece. It did not appear you could remove the chain and put a different chain on (for instance if it broke or if you wanted a thicker chain).

Pearl, Peridot, Topaz Necklace
I had already purchased the earrings some time ago and then found the necklace which matched perfectly. The purchase, response to my purchase and delivery are unmatched.
Thanks Amazon

Very Nice
I bought this as a Birthday gift for my Girlfriend and she really liked it… All i can say is that it looks way pretty when you see it for real. Worth the money too.
And she thanked me for ages for buying it for me.

Special Gift
I looked at this necklace several times on line along with others, and I kept going back to this necklace, I wanted a special gift for our daughter’s 40th birthday. Finally I ordered it and it arrived a few days ago. It is lovely, the color combination of the stones and pearls are just beautiful, I am sure she will have many outfits she can wear it with, and hopefully fond memories over the years of a gift from Mom & Dad.
If no one gets her earrings to go with it, that will be my next purchase.
Thank you Amazon as always you do a good job.

Where To Buy In My Songs by Gerald LeVert At The Lowest Price?

In My Songs by Gerald LeVert

Why Buy A In My Songs by Gerald LeVert?
In My Songs is soul man Gerald LeVerts final farewell, a collection of vintage-sounding R&B equal to any of the discs he put out in his 20-year career. Only, of course, sadder: Prior to track one, Geralds legendary father, the OJays Eddie LeVert, reminisces momentarily about the months leading up to this album and his sons pride in presenting it; shards of that short speech linger through songs like Sweetness, in which the man who was called Teddy Bear before Ruben Studdard was a twinkle in Paula Abduls eye promises to be sweeter tomorrow than I was today, and Hang in There, a soulful plea sent out to a sulking lady friend. Two upbeat songs break the solemn mood midway through–DJ Dont molds itself to fit old-school party-night sensibilities, and Wanna Get up with You whisks the ladies off to the dancefloor–but even those tracks cant help going bittersweet around the edges. They represent LeVerts lost magnetism, after all. And theyre reminders that the man who once promised to sing it to you time and time again, wont. –Tammy La Gorce

Classic Gerald – In My songs – A Must Have
No one like G. He fell from the right tree. From Dad and Son we have had the very best of old and new school R&B. I loved Levert from jump and from way back. I have more of his earlier music than recent, but planning to correct that. I used to club in the Bay Area in the early 90′s and sometimes had to park my car in questionable areas and I used to tell my friend, if my car gets stolen, I won’t be as mad as if they take my Levert cassette — they better leave my music behind. I also used to say — Im putting my music on and lettin’ Levert tuck me in tonight. How could you not love him. He sang from his natural soul. We will always miss you G., but you left us the best of your heart and soul and will live on in us through your music.

Superb!!! Excellent!!
It is unfortunate that Gerald was unable to see the success of this CD. It is his best ever! I have always appreciated the style and resonnance of his voice. Each song was heartfelt and the strength, as well as the gentleness, of his voice comes through in ALL of his songs. My favorite up tempo song is Mr. DJ. It is no doubt that this CD should be Grammy Nominated and should win several Grammys and other music awards.

Barring Some Unforeseen Accident by Jackson Tippett McCrae – Save 22% Today!

Barring Some Unforeseen Accident by Jackson Tippett McCrae

Why Buy A Barring Some Unforeseen Accident by Jackson Tippett McCrae?
Asked to travel back to the South in order to help out a small-town Junior League with the compilation of their cookbook, author Jackson Tippett McCrae finds that hes bitten off more than he can chew in this tale of odd recipes, social climbing, Southern customs, blackmail, murder, and mayhem. This tasty morsel, from the author of The Bark of the Dogwood–A Tour of Southern Homes and Gardens, will keep you flipping the pages in order to find out what each of the ladies of the Junior League are really up to when it comes to the cookbook theyre planning. And the way the towns sheriff and his outcast lady-friend figure into the equation only serves to enhance this feast, as they become more than the side dishes they appear to be, spicing up the plot with more than the expected amount of gusto. With the usual twists and turns found in McCraes books, Barring Some Unforeseen Accident is sure to please even those with the most discriminating taste.

A Tasty Treat
Barring Some Unforeseen Accident is a fun, tongue-in-cheek romp. At the same time, deeper issues are raised: racism, homophobia, and the consequences of backbiting small mindedness and downright meanness. It seems odd to use the word “haunting” about a book that is largely a farce (think verbal slap-stick), but in the end it is both haunting and touching, though with humor throughout (and if you think humor and haunting can’t go together, well, you haven’t read McCrae). The deep longing expressed by some of the characters to simply be accepted for who they are will stay with me for a long, long time.

This book has some extra little treats for fans of the author as it’s written in the first person with JTM as the narrator. There are references to his previous books throughout, though not enough to be bothersome if you haven’t read them. His self-deprecating portrayal of himself is pretty amusing in and of itself. Some of the scenes are absolutely priceless, but I will leave you to decide which is your favorite rather than risk giving anything away. As for the writing style, I love this author and his wonderful way of combining New York wit and the seductive cadence of more traditional southern writers. I happen to be down right rotten at anagrams, so they are not what I read these books for, but the anagrams are here for those of you who have more skill with them.

This book is definitely a lighter, faster read than “Dogwood”. If you like McCrae’s other books or Sedaris and are looking for a “page turner” that still has some bite to it, this is an excellent choice.

Where To Buy One False Move (Myron Bolitar) by Harlan Coben At The Lowest Price?

Why Buy A One False Move (Myron Bolitar) by Harlan Coben?
As readers who have enjoyed his appearances in original paperbacks already know, Harlan Cobens former professional basketball star Myron Bolitar is not your everyday testosterone-enriched jock. Myron is a mild-mannered guy who drinks chocolate soda and until very recently lived at home with his parents in suburban New Jersey. In his hardcover debut, we find Myron sharing a New York apartment with his longtime lady friend, writer Jessica Culver, and still running MB SportsReps, where he ostensibly manages the careers of other athletes, but really spends most of his time playing private eye. The arrival in Myrons life of rising pro basketball star Brenda Slaughter seriously tests his commitment to Jessica, who is in Hollywood working on a movie. It seems that Brendas father Horace–Myrons old coach–has disappeared, and Brenda is receiving death threats that might involve a gangster familys plans for a new female professional basketball league. Or the threats might have something to do with Brendas mothers connection to a wealthy New Jersey political family. Myron and his banker friend Win, a preppy with a penchant for violence, are more than enough to double-team the bad guys. Previous Myron Bolitar games in paperback include Backspin, Deal Breaker, Drop Shot, and Fade Away.

Another Good Myron Novel
Harlan Coben never disappoints me. The characters always come back and bring more depth to the story. As usual, the humor was there and I loved it! Win certainly knows how to move mountains. The man has a reputation and well earned at that. The series moves along nicely at a good pace and I am looking forward to reading the next one.

Myron has a lot on his mind. His relationship with his girl friend just isn’t going where he would like at times but doesn’t really want to push. Meanwhile Esperanza wants more out of her job than what she currently has. Myron struggles not only with all of it and how to handle it. Win doesn’t help him make decisions just shows things to him in a different light. That is why I think they are such good friends is that they can flush things out and discuss without offending one another.

I am curious to see where this goes next and happy I have a few more books left before his latest comes out in paperback. This is one series that I have really grown to love and an author who always has a twist that I don’t see coming at the end. Definitely an all time favorite author and I cannot wait to see what he comes up with next!

A mystery with multiple layers of misdirections
Cobin is a masterful storyteller and has put unique twists in both this plot and the plot of the first book that I read. I am anxious to see if the four additional Myron Bolitar books that I have ordered has this same style of unfolding the story that keeps you in suspense and then ….

Myron is a sports agent and has been asked to keep an eye on the star of the new women’s basketball league that has been threatened – her mother disappeared twenty years ago – her father has been murdered and she is a prime suspect. Usually when reading a murder mystery like this one, it is easy to keep up with who has been killed or is missing, but don’t bet on it with this yarn. There is one obtuse clue but if you miss it then the ending will be a total surprise.

If you like multiple layers of suspense where each layer points in a different direction then this book is for you.

Where To Buy Paramount Starting Over starring Burt Reynolds, Jill Clayburgh, Candice Bergen, Charles Durning, Frances Sternhagen At The Lowest Price?

Starting Over starring Burt Reynolds, Jill Clayburgh, Candice Bergen, Charles Durning, Frances Sternhagen

Why Buy A Starting Over starring Burt Reynolds, Jill Clayburgh, Candice Bergen, Charles Durning, Frances Sternhagen?
Until Boogie Nights, this film had stood for almost two decades as the best performance Burt Reynolds had ever given. In a criminal oversight, he was denied an Oscar nomination, perhaps because it came in the middle of his action-movie winning streak. Directed by Alan Pakula from a script by James L. Brooks, the film cast Reynolds as a newly divorced man struggling to cope with single life in the city. But a blind date (initially misconstrued by the woman as a mugging) leads to renewed hope in romance when he and his new lady friend (Jill Clayburgh) actually seem right for each other. But before he can make a commitment, his flighty ex-wife (Candice Bergen) bounces back into his life to make him miserable all over again with her flirtatious indecisiveness. Wonderfully acted and observed; a highpoint is Bergens attempt (as the worlds least talented singer-songwriter) to seduce Reynolds with one of her off-key tunes. –Marshall Fine

Candice Bergen should’ve been a singer . . .
I’m kidding. Her singing is horrible in “Starting Over”–but intentionally so. Her wonderful self-centered character is supposed to be a rotten singer–and her scenes with Burt Reynolds are comic gems. As for Mr. Reynolds, he’s never been better–not even in “Boogie Nights”. This is his best performance. You really feel for his character in this film as he tries to start a new life after he and his wife (Ms. Bergen) break up. And then there’s Jill Clayburgh, one of my favorite actresses of all time. She’s delightful as an insecure woman looking for love. Both she and Candice Bergen were nominated for Oscars–and Mr. Reynolds should’ve been, too. And in effective supporting roles Charles Durning, Frances Sternhagen and Austin Pendleton add their talent to this terrific film. I cannot say enough great things about “Starting Over”–you need to see it for yourself. So what are you waiting for? Go watch it right now.

This well crafted comedy features stellar performances by its 3 top-billed stars, Clayburgh, Bergen and Reynolds; the true surprise here was the low key acting by Burt Reynolds, who plays a humble, insecure magazine writer, recently dumped by his spouse, and testing the dating waters with Jill Clayburgh, among others. Supporting roles by Charles Durning, Frances Sternhagen and Austin Pendleton round out the cast and (they) contribute to the warmth and pathos of this comedy. Phil Potter (Reynolds) has just discovered his aspiring songwriter-wife Jessica (Candace Bergen in a funny, self-deprecating role) has been having an affair with his boss and she wants out of the 8 yr. marriage to pursue her songwriting dreams. Stunned, he retreats to Boston to begin a new life with the encouragement of his psychiatrist brother Mickey (Durning) who sets him up with love-shy Marilyn Holmgren (Clayburgh) and enrolls him in group therapy. Just as Phil is finding his footing in a relationship with the insecure Marilyn, Jessica shows up to try and woo him back, which includes a funny offkey serenading by Bergen, now a successful songwriter.
Both Clayburgh and Bergen were nominated for Oscars, but it’s Reynolds (whose performance was inexplicably ignored by Oscar) who shines in a role against type – no macho, mustachioed, testosterone-laced good old boy posturing here. He plays the wounded middle-aged Phil Potter trying to make a new life for himself in an understated , sympathetic un-reynolds manner and is totally charming.
This 1979 flick was superbly directed by Alan J Pakula, and is highly recommended; also good to view around the christmas holidays.
